What does the "Selfie verified" badge mean?

How it works

The advertiser takes a selfie with the camera. Our team compares it with the photos of the listing. If they match, the badge appears.

For visitors and members

• The badge is separate from "Verified" (see What does the "Verified" badge mean?). A listing can have one, both or none.
• It helps you see that the photos are of the person who published the listing.

For advertisers: how to get the badge

1. In your Dash, go to "Verifications", then "Selfie Verification".
2. Read the tips: face in the center, good light, no glasses or hat, a neutral expression, no filter.
3. Click "Open Camera" and take your selfie.
4. Your status shows "Under Review" until the check is finished.

You do not need the identity check first.
