What do the "VIP" and "New" badges mean?
"VIP" means the listing has an active daily VIP-Boost. "New" means the listing was created recently.
How it works
Badges are small labels on the card of a listing. Some show a status of the listing, others show a check that was done.
The badges
- VIP (with a crown): the daily VIP-Boost is active (see What is the VIP (model of the day)?). The badge disappears when the boost ends.
- New: the listing was created in the last 15 days.
- Video: the listing has at least one video.
- Verified: the identity was checked (see What does the "Verified" badge mean?).
- Selfie verified: the photos match the person (see What does the "Selfie verified" badge mean?).
- Silver, Gold, Diamond: the visibility level of the listing, shown with an icon (see What are Silver, Gold and Diamond?).
Good to know
- A badge is a sign, not a guarantee (see How do I know which listings I can trust?).
